OF course it's opinion..when it comes down to it EVERYTHING we talk about is merely opinion based on what we consider logical.

This is the way I see it..cuz I don't think you quite got what I was trying to say. Maybe I didn't explain it right.
Hypathetically..REAL CHRISTIANS..if people were REAL CHRISTIANS..yes..I think it would have MUCH of a positive impact on people. A lot. But..most people..claim christians, but are NOT real christians. Fuggit

You know...some says religion and science are the exact same thing. Just translated differently.

It could be proved though. Barely any of us can truly say we care about EVERYBODY else. Our enemies, etc. Can any of us say we COMPLETELY want peace? Does any of us NOT DAMAGE OUR BODY? Can any of us say theres NOTHING we over-indulge on. I doubt it.

God is not real. Simple, Plain, Fact.

The evidence proves it. We can explain everything that exists today in the universe through some measure of science. Essentially everything.

Religion was simply a measure by early man to grasp a universe that was too big for their knowledge at the time.

The fact some people on here still belive in God simply means that they do not have knowledge to emperically remove themselves from this idiotic notion. As long as this thread lasts, you can't win in here. The people in here arguing against god have such better reasoning, examples, and sheer facts than those claiming this ideology it's not even fair.

If you still belive in god, you need to educate yourself with the facts. plain and simple.

I challenge anyone who belives in god to test me.

also, the "morals" and whatnot in religion are simply ways for man to try to regulate itself.

Personally, I buy into the Lockian theory that man is chaotic and, when left to it's own measures is bent on destruction.

I think that early man realized this truth as well and used their idea of god to bring order to this.

there is no reason to believe in god. I'm sorry.
