METH BARZ idc how long you've been listening to Hip-Hop. Longer than me? That depends on your age. I'm 21 listening to the shit since I was at least nine
I've memorized a couple hundred songs by heart. Listened to DISCOGRAPHIES by artists. HUNDREDS of rappers. Not 20.. Not 50, not even 100. but HUNDREDS
from ya Elzhis to the Vinnie Paz's... Slick Ricks to MF Dooms
I does this B... I doubt you ever had anywhere near 70,000 songs on ya iPod...this was my black 120GB iPod from a years ago..which I sold and got a 64GB iPod touch with another 7,000 songs on it B
Trust me METH_BARZ when I tell you that you haven't heard as many rappers as me and aren't as familiar with Hip-Hop as I am
I literally work where the shit was birthed B...Bronx, NY... its a 15 minute drive and I make the commute daily mon - fri. the OG's on the block sipppin on stoops and at the bodega spots speak Hip-Hop fluently son...always certain names they mention when it comes to the greatest to ever do it
and that's BIG, Nas, Jay, AZ, Kool G, Rakim, & Kane.
i could give a fuck about what some wigger in West Bumblefuck Nebraska thinks about rap

It wasn't one of his better tracks..Shit, who said it was a track? If you're familiar with AZ's music you know its rare to get some new shit from him
this was more like a teaser of whats to come..this album was supposed to be released last year. and in 2011. he just procrastinates on his shit year after year but he wouldn't put something like this in early 2013 (he even has a video for this freestyle now) if he wasn't about it this time around
AZ shits out better music than 90% of the industry. even if its not one of his better tracks its better than the majority of the shit you hear on the radio or see in the music videos.
Stay set, sequel in the making
360, my beliefs in the nation
^ His opening lines carry weight but if you don't know what he's talkin about you're lost
"Words exchanged, frequences divide. Some'll prefer fame, others lead and guide"
^ Sums up his entire rap career. Funny how much knowledge dude drops in his music and how hard he tries to help others grow. If you can't respect the lyricism respect his character. Look @ any AZ song on YouTube and the comments speak for themselves. So if ya'll think its just me with this opinion of him you aren't listening close enough to the lyrics
Or you don't understand the vernacular he uses. Bet most of ya'll dont understand that '360 my beliefs in the nation' bar yet you wanna criticize since you don't understand something so ya'll think this niggas speaking in tongues

didn't I just say I like him and now your trying to preach to me about his shit? really he isn't that hard to understand bro he's got some dope shit but he isn't over head man and honestly music is a preference and thats why it's so great because of diversity in different types of music and genres just cause you like someone doesn't mean the next guy has to because you say so like your the industries biggest A&R rep just give it a damn rest already

Yeah when I listened to AZ thoroughly i got the idea the motha fucka read the book on poetry
He's not a punchline/metaphorical nigga but he's got every thing else
the consonance, assonance, internals, eye/slant rhymes, flow, substance, content, etc etc
I like Cormega a lot too...in fact the entire Firm besides Nature & Foxy are some of my favorite rappers....extensive collection of Nas, Cormega, & AZ tracks
they all compliment each other..Nas got the story telling down & some commercial success...AZ has rhyming & flow down pat and he's underground...Cormega has both but it seems dude completely vanished off the scene...these niggas are like a Venn Diagram with Nas & AZ on opposite sides & Mega in the middle
Idk how those 3 niggas linked up but that was a beautiful thing for me & for Hip-Hop.
Imagine not knowing who Crooked I, Royce, Joell, or Budden are.... then listening to them together for the first time as Slaughterhouse. You'd be wtf I gotta check out these niggas solo projects
although I been bumpin Nas before I even heard of AZ and Cormega

damn then this nigga Mega really got blacklisted from Hip-Hop. I usually keep up with all my Hip-Hop shit and I know Mega still fucks with AZ
I thought Nas stopped this nigga from shinin. I won't lie though, I haven't looked for new Mega shit in about 2 years. I liked Mega before I liked AZ
