If you mean like the monthly ratings and such, it's based off of you win/loss ratio.

Currently, nothing for the most part. They never really did anyway. The ratings will come back eventually but for now the staff and current owner (Who has final say) agree that simplifying and streamlining is the way to go. Honestly I've NEVER seen anyone care about their ESR/Star Rating on here. Everyone has always cared what the ratings they got on their battles were but I STG I've not once seen anyone brag about having a higher Star Rating than someone else. I tried to convince X, when he was the owner, that we should be using it like an ELO system. It never happened though. I think because it would have been a logistical nightmare.


How have you been here this long and you still have no idea how the voting system works. There are 0 people whose vote counts for four votes. I'm going to explain it to you and maybe you'll get it this time.

Every user has a certain amount of points that their vote is worth. It is either 0, 1, or 2. Everyone starts with 2 points. Shitty voters have their points lowered by one over time to the point where, if they keep voting badly, their votes become worth nothing.

So say you and I battle. I get three votes and you get two. If two of the people who voted for me are people who have made bad votes in the past I might only get two points or even none for those voters. Which means if the two who voted for you are decent voters then you would win with only the two votes because you won more points.

It's kind of like boxing but if the judges decisions were weighted by how they had ranked in the past. Shitty judges scores wouldn't count for as much as judges who have scored fights more accurately and fairly.
