Welcome to The Finals of the Punchline Champs World Tournament! I would like to thank all participants and voters for making this both an exciting and successful tournament. There have been many great battles over the course of a couple of weeks, and now we come to this: the final matchup between two veterans who are sure to make this finale something to witness.

Without any further or do, I give you the final matchup:



★ ★ ★ TALE OF THE TAPE ★ ★ ★

Kiwi Peewee.....GodTheReptilian.....these two participants have survived some intense clashes throughout this tournament, and now they clash with each other. Some could say the last round had unexpected turnouts, with both battles being subject to controversy.

Two battlers on a streak....one came out victorious....GodTheReptilian took out Uttirmost, who many believed would not only end up in the finals, but win the entire tournament. Although Uttirmost garnered more votes in the battle, Reptilian pulled the victory out due to vote power, an occurrence that always raises eyebrows and reignites the "vote power shouldn't exist" conversation. That, coupled with the fact that Uttirmost was the favorite, made the conclusion of this battle a genuine surprise.

Letum and Kiwi Peewee's battle also had its own share of controversy, as Letum was disqualified for exceeding the character limit. For two battlers who are more known for their unique styles and development of their punches, quick jabs seemed to be an unknown variable for the both of them. However, this tournament has shown that these two are high-KO, solid punchline battlers, and this clash was only more evidence of that. However, with Letum's controversial DQ, Kiwi Peewee earned his spot in the finals.

So, here we are....4 rounds and over 40 bars later, we have The Finals matchup between GodTheReptilian and Kiwi Peewee. Two veterans are now pitted against each other with the hopes of becoming the first World Punchline Champion, and with the hopes of winning the prize money of $100!

★ ★ ★ CHAMPIONSHIP RULES ★ ★ ★

The character limit for Round 4 is 280.
(The character limit will be enforced using an online character counter. Bars must not exceed 280 characters. Any submission that does not adhere to the character limit will be disqualified, regardless of the outcome of the battle.)

Bars are due by the end of January 31st (Sunday).
(Any submission after 11:59:59PM CST will be considered a "No-Show" and will result in a disqualification.)

Name changes during a live tournament battle will result in an automatic disqualification, regardless of the outcome of the battle.

There is no designated sender. Whoever finishes their bar first, sends first.

Battle links must be posted in this thread, and their opponent must be tagged in the post.



★ ★ ★ THE FINAL BOSS ★ ★ ★

As announced in the last round, this tournament is being watched closely by The Final Boss. This is a multiple-time Champion, and also a Hall of Famer. The winner of this tournament will have the opportunity to not only win $100 USD, but will also have the opportunity to win an additional $50 on top of that, given that they face and defeat The Final Boss....who's identity will not be revealed until a decision is made as to whether the Champion will take the money and split, or agree to face The Final Boss.

Here's the catch....the identity of The Final Boss will not be revealed unless the Champion decides to face him....and IF the Champion decides to face them, their identity will then be revealed and there is no turning back. Choose wisely, because this final battle...if accepted...will be the Champion's biggest challenge of the entire tournament.
