here's what i will say, our current system is outdated, in refference to the chat room embedded above the forums. it's get's the most attention but it's the least modern. the pm system here is decent but a bit small, and the chatbox featured with it is fucking terrible. i personally believe the best route is to embed the LB discord and ghost the others. it's modern, efficient, and relevant.

also, nobody is active at all much anymore. the issues is not a chatbox, per se, the issues is based on an outdated site, and a lack of adaption to the current frames of modern expectations. people want apps of their phone that are easy to use, and don't cost them extra fees. rapping is huge and battle rap is too. we need to capitalize on the interest, but treating letsbeef as just a site form battle rap might be an inherit flaw. i'd suggest it's best to view letsbeef as a social platform and try to engage that way.

My argument why Forums are better then the chatbox is that Forums are more permanent. The chatbox has an expiring archive so as of now you can only go back as far as March 17th. We've had a few instances where forum posts would've been better, from Saiyan's metal boots fiasco to racist remarks being made, both of which could be quoted/replied to & archived away.

We already have profile comments, crew forums, social groups, IM's & PM's, so it's not like people can't reach out to each other.

Discord is great and it's already embedded in this thread: https://www.letsbeef.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165525 but I agree, it would be better to have it embedded like the chatbox is now.

As far as your last paragraph goes, you've seen there's an update coming (Mobile friendly & completely different then now) I know in the past there's been promises of updates but there's been nothing but progress since X came back, just asking people for a little bit more patience, something new is coming.
