Has science gone too far?

I think science is putting effort into the wrong things sometimes....Im sure there's more constructive ways people can use their intelligence and money than to come up with another boner pill or a way to put dog ears on someone while they take a picture.

then again, this is the same society where a government spent millions of dollars to determine if Tom Brady knowingly deflated a football....the whole world is fucked.
