It's so obvious yet here we are trying to make a pure jolly lets all hug rap battle site.

Sometimes just writing and winning isn't enough.

That's where "trolls" come in

That's just my opinion as someone who's been here long enough to have seen both sides of the coin.

And I don't consider half these guys we've banned trolls.

True trolls contribute absolutely nothing to the community. Our guys at least battle anyway.

Like Rohan for example. And at his time of banning he probably battled more than either myself or you. all while posting in the forums.

Obviously this is far from the only problem with the site.

I just think this witch hunt mentallity to make this site an exclusive only club puts a big dent in activity.

@Indianapolis Jones ... Note that I never said to get rid of the trolls, but rather that LB has a knack for attracting trolls that have very little intention on actually battle rapping, which is the site's intended purpose.

I did not get Rohaan banned, nor do I think users should be banned for trolling unless it is clearly continual harassment.

My point was more about the culture and community of the site falling off.

I obviously wasn't as concise as I could have been, but what I was trying to get at is the site might be more successful if it was a hiphop + battle rap site rather than just a battle rap site ( so in other words, bringing back more topicals *cough unbanning EtH*, more concept battles, more crew battles, more interaction in general...)

The beefing should happen mostly on the microphone and the trolling should support the beefing.... as oppose to the way it is now... trolling off the mic to create beef that never becomes a battle.

So, I had a few suggestions, but I'm not sure you read my full post... its all good.

I agree with @Babylon ... I only come back to tip my hat to an old hobby on a site I used to enjoy much more than I do currently.... I can only speculate as to how others feel.
