basically everyone in the forum knows how to multi, but most people have totally irrelevant set-ups to their punchlines. i always keep my shit relevant. that doesnt make me "better" that just means that i sit there till i get all my multies right and flowing properly ... most of you just put the verse out with half-ass buildups. if you were all a little more stubborn with your writing then youd do better. but i know that most of you will just post shitty set ups and it will make it easy for me to win. not necessarily cus of skill .. but cus i refuse to put out trash. most of you are capable of bein much better ... youre just in a hurry

Both of you put forward better than average setups in your natural element but the majority of the site in stupidity believes setups are filler. Since wow factor (or even sensationalism) requires anticipation...a longer (than average) setup is needed.

anyway,I cant speak on Jason's behalf but I'm sure I speak for both of us when I say rap battling isn't at the top of our list...we each had our run, we each put in work. Its no coincidence that this thread is about me and @Jason and not 2 other random vets that pop their head in and out

But we paid our dues. Sure ya'll would love to see Dissizit vs Us....but its like sayin you want Jordan to face LeBron

As veterans of the site Jason & I would love to play the Jordan role and just sit back and cheer on the LeBrons and Durants.

We don't owe anything to anybody, we put years into this site. The reason we, or at least I, still use the forum is because even though I'm not as passionate about battling, I'm still passionate about Hip-Hop. & I feel like this site has the potential to become something greater than what it already is....which is why I make threads talking down on admins for being lazy and not workin on the site, etc etc

that's the only reason I stick around really...I look at text/audio battling as charity. Charity in the sense that I don't need to battle anybody anymore but I still do...and charity in the sense that I hope people listening/reading my battles catch a spark that motivates em to elevate

The problem with this site is there is no room for flexibility when it comes to what you can and cannot use if you want to win *insert wordplay* *insert nameplay* no matter how rediculous it is. Venture from this tired formula at your own risk. Or follow it even in the most shoddy poorly written fashion and walk away with the win against he who dare stray from the path.
