Straight, i hear that. I guess it really does just depend on what Facility your sent to. I mean, i was sent to a maximum because of the charges that i had but, i aint see no deaths everyday lol. And you would assume that in the maximums would be poppin left, right and center but naw, it was more of a weekly thing up on my range.

Those American prisons are Shot Call'd ALOT differntly than down here in Canada. I cant lie, yall get nutty down there lol We aint on that race tip much here though, everybody mixes with everybody.

Caught my first charge ON my 13th Birthday n started goin in and out till i was like 24, at 24 i was facin 2 n a half and Just had my kid, Spent over 20 g's on lawyers n shit, and cleaned my life right the fuck up... ended up pleading out n gettin HARSH conditions for 3 years... shit FINALLY ended like two months ago...

for the first time in 14 years im not up on charges , and dont have a P.O....

only place i really lucked out is i never got hit with any real hard time...

I was locked up in Cook County Jail (Chicago)...stayed two months till my family found bail money, went on trial and was found guilty about two years later, then thrown back in for two more months awaiting sentencing, then I was placed on probation and had to do community service.

Shit gets petty as hell when you're in jail. They let us go to commissary once a week where if your family sends you money, you can buys shit like regular soap and toothpaste instead of that hard shit they give you. You can also buy chips and cookies and stuff like that instead of eating the same damn balogna sandwich they give you everyday...lol. When everyone is stripped of their worldly possessions, those prison trinkets take on a whole new meaning. I've seen muhfuckas get their head busted over a honey bun. (not kidding)
Even though I wasn't in any gangs and was placed in maximum security (Division 10), I didn't have too many problems because I was one of the only muhfuckas in there who could read and write. So when folks wanted to write letters to their girl or their moms, I was everyone's best friend.

In jail the food is fucking disgusting and rationed poorly,In prison the food is better and rationed better.In jail your ''yard'' consists of enclosed walls no windows and you rarely get to see it,In prison your yard is Bigger you get to go to yard 3 times a day depending on weather.In jail your lucky to get commissary 2x a week.In prison the commissary is part of the yard.In the jails i been to on your ''visit'' it consists of staring at your family through a computer screen like this shit is tiny chat or something.In prison you get contracal visits.(fuck the spelling)The list goes on son

My sisters house got raided, all they found was the end of one spliff.

They smashed into her house, which she had just bought and renovated, brand new everything. The law over here is if they smash into your house and they don't find anything and cause serious damage, when in fact the door was UNLOCKED (fucking idiots) then they have to pay for expenses, as they had smashed down an unlocked door.... but because they found the remainder of a spliff that had been smoked the previous night then they didn't have to do shit.

The neighbours had APPARENTLY tipped them off somebody was selling weed, they failed to mention the 18 month old baby living there though, police also aren't suppose to raid houses with young children.

Conclusion; nobody got charged or arrested, but my little nephew was traumatised and thousands of ££££ worth of damage caused for NO reason.

I been to Prison longest i did was 3 off a 5 year sentence back in 99 and where im from the Jail is bullshit mfs beg to go to Prison In jail here there is no touch visits,you cant smoke cigs,no music,limited tv,barely any rec time now in Prison you can smoke cigs(and other shit)lol you can buy a walk man,your fam can come see you and you can sit at a table and see em you can hug em interact with em you are always outside walking to Education hall working plenty of rec time you walk to the cafeteria verse ur food being brought to you in jail in the dorm u never leave.Neither is a place to end up but Prison was waaay better than the county jail.As far as Fights and shit yeah people do try you you will prolly end up fighting as far as rape i never saw it but the prison i was at was only 10 years or less in a Max pen where mfs got life im sure there is rape but realistically i never saw it happen but i did see people getting heads busted open with locks in sox and shit..........i went back for parole violation and did a year in 2004 but have only been back to jail 1 time earlier this year for 1 night on assault charges but trust me being free is WAAAY better than both
