I dont get it. If I listen to a battle that stands out, or a verse that stands out, I'ma still rate it highly...you're not less of a man for dishing out a high rating lol

I've seen people give me 5's and 6's when I know I'd rip them a new asshole in any freestyle competition... So by your own criteria/standards, don't get mad when I drop 3's and 4's on your battles and tracks. And refer back to this thread when you wonder why I gave you a 3.

No, it's been happenin for a minute and I've addressed it before.. Your vote is 1 of like 3 on my battle with low ratings. Everyone does it. Doesnt matter if its text or audio

Is it cuz the site is dead? So even with 5's and 6's a battle still makes hotlist? What happened that raised the bar so high for ya'll to rate battles so low?

Is it an ego thing? Maybe ya think you're showin too much love/givin too much props if you give someone an 8 or a 9

I'm curious, cuz if I hear some shit thats fire...or relatively fire compared to what else I'm hearin I'm rating that shit high.

Yeah I made a thread about this a few months ago lol the consensus was that the standards are higher and people aren’t reaching them but I don’t believe that. I’m like you if somethings good or better than most the shit out I rate it higher. I keep it relative to the competition

1 - Awful
5 - Not Bad
10 - Amazing

Then a 5/6 isnt a bad rating to recieve.

If you talk specifically about ur battle with FARM, i went 6-8 Godbody.

7 if you clearly exceed the average in one or more categories but still have errors (mostly clean reading verses with bad reaches)

8-9 for a top product, 10 if blown away or sometimes if its a 9 quality verse but its a 16 or 32, might go 10.

This is mostly for text but same roughly applies in audio. A lot of the audios that sound good but the person isnt really saying shit gets a 6 from me. 7 or above if you're actually spitting punchlines and sounding clean with it. 5 and below for the Doe Drop and other rambling verses.
