Sorry to be the bearer of bad news old guys, but there's no other facet of a verse you can compare to the wordplays in question without referencing biting. Rhyming words is nothing like making a 5 syllable long wordplay. With the size of the wordplay it's really only comparable to biting the concept for a punch verbatim but making your own reference to relate to said concept that was bitten. That's still a bite

At one point you could see mod comments (not votes) before voting.. Now you can't. I'm not sure if crew members can see comments / votes still.. And I'm also not sure if people can see battler expo's before voting.

Can see expos and crew comments (recently re-added)..not sure about mod comments. What we could use is the ability to edit comments made on a battle.

Thousands of other examples. It happens all the time that emcees use the same or similar wordplay. This isn't a science. Almost nothing is objective unless it's blatant.


I agree that Nick using those examples in bars is shitty. What I'm saying is that he still had to build unique bars around them with nothing but those sound alike words to start from. He asked to step down. I suggested a suspension. We're working on getting shit together so we're not completely understaffed.

Don't worry. Nick was putting in more work than all the other mods combined, but it's cool. You guys will bring back one of the old mods who sign into letsbeef every other month and shit will be right as rain.

I think nick did some shady shit in that battle but losing him as a mod is sincerely detrimental to lb as a whole.
