Just gave Ye's new album a full listen through, I don't know how I feel about it.

My favorite song on it would probably be "Follow God". Thought the Excite Bike reference was dope, was actually thinking about an Excite Bike bar the other day (bastard!).

What are your thoughts, LetsBeef?

I didn't like it at first but I listened to it a few more times. Definitely grew on me.

I get the same feeling, but I do my due diligence and at least give his new albums one full play through. I think his last super fire one was "Life Of Pablo". Wasn't impressed with the rest, a good song here and there.

808s and Heartbreaks was the one to give him the downwards swing. I remember the lads in school who would try and argue with me that Lil Wayne was better than 2pac suddenly were like "Wow Love Lockdown is fucking sick, Kanye West is awesome" and my hatred for them only grew.

But College Dropout is top 5 all time for me. Incredible album start to finish. Also Kanye was a fucking gangster when he did that staredown with 50 Cent during their "beef" and then went on his tip toes. Wasn't 50 Cent supposed to retire if Graduation sold more than his album and it did?

I haven't listened to Kanye's new album so won't comment on that but on the subject of that era. Man, I fucking loved Lupe's early albums - still listen to them. I wish he made more like that.
