My argument was that a crew's recruitment potential factors into whether or not they are the best crew right now, not that their recruitment potential single-handedly determines their status as the best crew.
To me, you guys have nothing to be afraid of, so I don't understand why you would be unwilling to grant that they be allowed to recruit a couple new people.
When you're heading into any major event, it's unreasonable to expect that there be no preparation. This is Illmania, and to the best of my knowledge, it has always allowed the crews involved to do some recruiting prior to the events starting. This one will be no different.
