To be honest, I hate these "beliefs". Life is obviously not based on thought and perception. Maybe your own personal 'meaning' might be, but the world doesn't bend out your perception of it. Just because you think that everything might be sunshine and rainbows, doesn't mean that for others it might be a forcibly glum place, and visa versa. Thought and perception can change your mood in most scenarios, but when you're getting a chick mid-rape, her outlook on life isn't going to be swell at that moment. It's not down to her perception of what is playing out, it's down to reality.

Which really is somewhat of my beliefs. As hipsterish as it sounds "realism" would be a perfect title to me. A little bit of Occums Razor ties into it. The simplest stuff, the stuff that's concrete and we know about, are the most real for me to follow.
