I don't look down upon it im saying thats what hip hop has changed into just that every song sounds the same nowadays with a few exceptions here and there and yeah those artist did touch on subjects like that but they were more versatile with their craft then todays artist

Hip Hop is sooooooo watered down with cats claiming to make 'real' music now a days. . They wanna have the he's 'real' cred from fans, but When every artist is claiming that and sounding like each other, its tuff to tell right now whats actually from the heart vs whats been made by the artist specifically for a certain demographic . . . IE, shits watered down to give us the fan what was popular awhile ago, so by the time we get the end product of these artist, its usually some spin off of what the last ..hit song/club banger/or intelectual artist did. . .

Right now, I could confirm that I'm not a rap fan anymore, and the rap music I like died out years ago.

@Jason, I've been saying that for years. 2pac, Biggie, Big L, Eminem. They all make songs about that shit the majority of the time.

There were always offshoots who took an original approach like Tyler.

It's not even that rap gets old to me. It's the sound and delivery of everything that is produced these days.

Also, everything R&B and Rap is now on my blacklist as a result of their horrific abuses to 90s techno.
