You both gave decent expos in this one, but I felt Veto was a lot more thorough in pointing out certain things. Also, I kinda felt your rating were a little high Chemist. Neither one of them gave a 7 performance. Educator flowed nicely, but like Veto pointed out, he really didn't have any punches and was mostly clowning himself. Vote: Veto

You both balanced your critique of Biskets with the good and bad. As far as the good, stricc told Biskets his delivery was A1 while S1 complemented his delivery as well, but had a few more nice things to say. As far as the bad, stricc focused on the fact that he needs to cut down on the filler and S1 told him he needed to be more complex. I think you're both right and he needs to do both, however, for that particular battler, I think if he should follow only one of your advice, S1's advice for him to be more complex is probably more important right now. For Ghost, you both pretty much said the same things but in different ways. S1 told him his verse sounded like a cypher and stricc told him it was all filler. I felt S1's expo for Ghost sounded a little generic talking about complexity, metaphors and multis. The way stricc worded it more so nailed it saying he needed to give his line purpose and direction. Overall, I liked S1's expo towards Biskets more and I liked stricc's expo towards Ghost a little more. The main difference is in tone however. Even when you guys said the same thing, stricc sounded a little harsher and I feel that that may prevent some people from benefiting from your expo as much. Some people hear how you say something before they hear what you actually said. This was very close but I'll have to go with S1 on this one. Vote: S1

You guys chose different winners in this. I agree that it was pretty close, so I won't consider who you chose as winner, but I will look at the difference in your expos. Honestly, I felt you both could have gone further with what you wrote. Chemist, half of what you said wasn't really expoing the battle. It was more being apologetic and saying how you really didn't want to vote because its so close and you're only doing it for the FVC contest. Its almost like a voting "filler" in the sense that it didn't get right down to business and break down the verses. S1, I felt you covered more areas but, I would like to see you give more personalized expos though. Saying things like "punches were nice" and "metaphors were hittin" is kind of generic because that's what everyone says. I would have liked to have seen you use a couple of actual lines from their verses to explain exactly what you meant by "kinda lacking a lil strength in a couple" and "a line or 2 ... coulda been better." Be more specific while giving your own personal perspective. People learn from that and appreciate it a lot. With all that being said, I felt S1 dropped the more robust expo so he gets my vote. Wow...you both dropped really good expos in this battle. stricc, your expo was way better than the one you gave in Round 1. Just C, yours was probably the best I've seen in this contest so far. I think the main difference that stood out to me was Just C's expo was a lot more personalized and he used specific lines from each battler's own verse to make his point and give them his perspective. From my experience, people learn a lot more when you give them feedback in this way. This is exactly what I meant @S1 The Sick. I really liked your vote too stricc, but in this match, I felt Just C took it a bit further. Vote: Just C
