Improve Votes on Battles

Problem: "Sleeper Battles." Battles that only receive maximum of three votes and even though there is some nice material, it kind of goes to waste. Not a problem every member experiences of course, as some veteran's material is admittedly more enjoyable to read or listen to. However it is a common problem.. and I'm sure everyone at one point or another would appreciate more reads of their texts/audio battles. Essentially if you put in the time and effort, you should get the feedback.

Solution: Both the "credit system" and "Fair Voter threads" are beneficial to people both getting fair votes on their battles and getting noticed. However I've thought of an additional way for people to gain votes on battles, I don't think would be too hard to incorporate and get used to. What if a mandatory battle popped up everytime you signed on to letsbeef.com. This battle was completely randomized, i.e. could be two veterans, two noobs or some sort of combination. The user signing in to Letsbeef MUST VOTE FAIRLY on this battle before proceeding in to the website. This would generate more votes throughout, prevent sleepers and give people the credit and views they deserve.

The logic behind this is simple. I logged on to letsbeef 3-4 times today.. but since I had already enough credits in my inbox i neglected to vote on 1 battle. Had this mandatory system come up and given me 3-4 mandatory battles to vote on, thats 3-4 more votes that'd be out there. On average if people log on twice a day and over 50 members come on the site, thats 100 more votes out on battles helping people elevate and get noticed.

Work needs to go into this idea. How will it effect credits, i.e. should you get credits for it? How will this effect the hot listers? If you get a new member (1st day type shit) to vote on your battle etc. But I believe if the system is perfected it'll definitely improve voting structure. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated, I'd love to hear any positives/ negatives to this.

the idea is pretty good IMO but the prob comes to audio and text.....but if it goes on your battles you partaking in then its a great idea

Not a bad idea, but there's already an area specific ticker. If voters clicked through the top links and voted, they would benefit in the same manner. The FVC SHOULD be doing this at times. I start my day that way lol seriously, its a good idea but we should be promoting the avenues that we have in place, right?

Perhaps make the home page of the site have battles that have less then 5 votes a bit more noticeable..? Anything like that can work in my opinion, not a bad idea.

*Aplause* hands down one of the best ideas ive heard of. There would be alot of time invest into it but well worth it i think. This garuntees that people see your bars
