High School Poetry. Opinions?

[S A L T]

white ankled; holey with grey heels and toes
holes concealed beneath the laces, exposed to "soles"
the "sole" of mine, my “conscience ensues;
“distress.”
a walk at school, presents a set of misfits;
yet I’m the misfit.
along the halls coded with greyish lockers;
a song, of chit chat
walking onward, kids adorn blurs of colors,
mid calf is pitch black

a dark solid pigmentation
tattooed with initiation
an initiation for "cools"
inked in dull white; boasting a "swoosh"
i stay isolated in gym,
my calf, “un-tatted”
my "calf", unbranded
I remain as a free mammal
I’m not fenced in at a farm;
not shackled above the ankles
i long to fit in the swarm.
the answers not within sandles.

strips of white form above the tips
two "swooshes" of opposite tinge
as if evolving just a bit.
designs of “spines” along the back,
for “supporting” their prominence
the colors: range broader and quick
although mine stay covert and cryptic
my bare legs; unmarked with a check
integrity still on the hit list.

EXPLANATION: just thought id say, all i wear is nike mid calves lmfaooo, and im exactly the stereotype this poem exposes.
BUT. i notice kids, all the kids that walk the school hallway like they got no friends just looking at the white tiled floor as they walk to their next classes, dont wear nike socks. but all the "cool" dudes getting bitches and partying every friday, adorning their fitteds and snap backs and string bags, wear nike mid calves everyday lol, sometimes two (white and black) and sometimes the baseball ones with the blocks down the back and shit. It seems like these kids have lost something, and they're falling into a corporate target for riches. but check it out, let me know if it speaks well. i hope you get what its about before you read this.
even though its obviously about socks, i just mean the message.

I didn't get what it was about before I read the expo, because I'm old as fuck, but the shit was damn good, and in reality, could have been about more.
