I think it's a harsh DQ, personally.

BTD isn't one to slip on the rules, he just appeared to use extra syllables due to the way he presented his multies.

If he had typed them in... perFECTION WITH CLASS, proFESSIONS WITH CABS, obSESSIONS WITH FAB.

Then, @Just C, would he have been DQ'd?

You serious what a rediculous DQ? The majority of his rhymes were missing the first syllable. Capping rhymes is pretty stupid but having to NEED up and down caps in one word is fucking retarded. Thats an option and has always been an option. The dude took the scheme and rhymed with it the entire way though. Just because some letters were big makes fuck all difference. If the dude felt like rapping in all caps that'd be fucking swell too. Bullshit.

He rhymed 5 syllables (Very rarely admittedly)

But it was still a 4 syllable scheme.

And at Vit.

Maybe I should have been DQed. I didn't care enough to keep count or proof read, I just did what I did to show my face.

In a regular battle, this would have been acceptable. But given its a scheme tournament where syllables are crucial, it's unacceptable, for EVERYBODY. Not just the kid that got DQ'd.

i know what your saying but mikey just posted his round 2 verse and pointed out he did the same thing....he had a couple 5 syllable rhymes in there but if you read the verse as a whole theres still the same 4 syllable scheme

You rhyme syllables, not words. Just because a part before the rhyme seemed to work too, thats obviously not what he intended, just happened by chance. He wasnt rhyming the entire words just the 4 syllables at the end. This is proven throughout his entire verse. So just because there was a little bit before that, nothing changes. Imagine them like internals...
