Nah, he's right. Any call-out challenge needs to be sent and replied to by the 15th of the month.

All battles that are on the battle card are of the set date by @RhetoriK.

This was set up this way so that no one ends up writing 32 bars that won't be used. As if for example you beat @Phracture around the same time as his title defence (either open or not), it would mean the no.1 contender just wasted their time writing 32 bars for the previous champion, (a title battle that now isn't a title battle) as then you would be the current champion, they then have to write another 32 in such a short space of time to challenge for the title.

So all call-outs are to be completed in first half of the month and then the mandatory defence happens in the end of the month.

@Phroxen to clarify, think it was he who set those rules, iirc.
