Site Improvement

I didnt even get to reading the whole thing but i will.
One thing i know for sure is gaining active members.
LB has to find a way to bring people to the community and people equals money bottom line.
I know yall have the budget for more promotion, lets start there.
Then worry about creating a new site. Its dope the way it is, a few minor change would be ideal but if yall want to go all out be my quess but don't let budget be a reason for lagging activity on the site.

Aye, FB and/or any other major website will always have a much larger user base than LB does.

There's no point in comparing between the two... for obvious reasons.

Would be awesome if LB had that amount of active users, sadly LB has been on a decline and thats due to ownership, as at the end of the day, all staff can only do so much.. we are actually limited.

If LB is to turn into something proper, it needs financial investment... firstly for web development and app development... re-code the site and make it modern. AFTER all that, it would need further financial investment in advertising, promotion etc etc... cash tourneys, prizes and cash up for grabs and so on...

Its highly unlikely any of this will ever happen...

There is no budget. Those who own the site only add bandaid's here and there when they can be contacted... they're not going to put money into it.

Question…. Any of you mods on other battle sites/groups etc?

Advertising via word of mouth don’t cost nothing… I think the issue is people go from LB to other sites, most of the time cos they’re trashed for their skill set or their work don’t get feedback votes… then that’s why no one joins cos those kinda people don’t recommend LB.

The thing is I've thought about it. My battle rap and me being staff for a battle rap website has nothing to do with my music. My music has nothing to do with what this is. I don't believe it would be too beneficial for Lets Beef nor myself and I'm not sure how I feel about the crossover between those two separate things would even go.

Also, I would like to touch base with the issue in fact being the budget. The voting and activity is due to people giving up on the website itself, due to the website lacking modern features and just being outdated in general, which eventually turned away a lot of good and decent members, which resulted in the decline of the voting and activity system. There may be other factors to this, but that is the primary one right there.
