a lazy way to dismiss

so i've been seeing this attitude that letsbeef is "dying" so "who cares what we do"

first off, to make it clear, this site is actually in a good spot compared to previous months, and, X is also around and working on the site.

secondly, if this site were dying, it'd be up to use to change that. to put it simply, if we all give up, then x would obviously shut the site down, but that's on y'all. if you still here doin your thing, then we'd stay.

basically to me, i get that everyone has a right to their opinion, but honestly if you're not doing anything to help, you're the problem.

If you look at the text battles and audio battles there's actually a very nice amount of activity going on. I feel like the quantity of active battles is even more plentiful now than it was back in 2019. This website isn't dead and everything will be fine. I might do some battles tomorrow.

NOBLE currently does fuck all for LB. He's not around, doesn't really vote, doesn't really battle. Been that way for years. That doesn't mean it's on him that LB is in this state. During that 10 years he admined the site single handedly. People are gonna fall out of interest with the site, and with no one joining the numbers go way down. For some reason people like Gutz are quick to blame the people who actually log on and post rather than the guys who ghost all together.

It's not on us. Just like it's not the community's fault if there are less people playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 right now. When something becomes old and outdated, people stop using it and move on to other shit. Fact.

Also X admits V4 is probably never happening, stop lying Gutz. X doesn't have the time to code the site by himself. He's struggling like fuck to even get the skin coded, let alone the functionality. You don't have the secrets to X, he's up front with anyone who asks him. V4 isn't coming.
