Undefeated overall records are fine with me. You can’t see a whole record outside the forums or the person’s profile page. Flames are present in the arenas and give new users the idea that the folks with em are who they should aim for and/or that sniping is the way to attain status. There’s like 3-4 people holding onto their blue flames for dear life and running off new members before they know what’s what. Recognizing a quality winning streak should definitely be done and rewarding activity should as well. There’s just gotta be a better way of going about it

Now that I lost my flames I honestly don't miss them.

Maybe there should be a system where you can only achieve flames if you exclusively battle emcees rated as good. That, of course, would leave freestyle battles totally out of discussion since this website is more so focused on written material anyways, let alone text battles.

I think flames serve a purpose in providing low- to mid-tier battlers an accomplishment they can actually get by their name. Sure its annoying for us to see snipers with them, but those people will always do their thing anyway. I remember when I was really new I got a single orange flame and I was so stoked with it, and I wanted to continue battling harder and harder opponents to move up the rankings on a win streak until eventually I lost it to Alzie. Fond memories haha

Word to Kiwi ... Snipers were always around, before the flames ... CASH ONE & Shit would be going for the high rankings of the month .... .... If it didn't discourage new niggas then, it wont now .. If anything , new niggas would feeel honoured taking on a bigger name .... ... I know i sniped some battles idgaf i was rusty ... You post an open , ur calling the whole site on .... It's better to lose to a champion, or #1 of the month , then it is to lose to a nobody .... A Flame is Something To Work Towards

It does encourage Sniping , and niggas like Rhifle feel crippled by it ... They dont wanna lose that flame so they pick their battles carefully .... & It'll Stop Them From Really Getting Better, Maybe ... I Mean He Can Still Improve, At a Slower Rate .... .... Too many niggas got flames tho, it takes the Prestige away a bit .... Something should def be done about that .... Aggo's idea wasn't perfect , but definately a step in the right direction

The part about battling harder and harder opponents is the piece that’s lost on the same few people who do the shit for the wrong reasons. The same types of folks that less accomplished members continue to complain about in forums for the past number of years. If it ain’t the flames, something gotta be done to not incentivize that bullshit any longer.
