Ahh, now I could see your point. Yes - it seems like the character of the Joker was used more as a mechanism to tell the story than anything else. Sure, they included references but it wasn't really a superhero (villain) movie.

Just finished IT chapter I. It was decent.

Shot Caller
Really looking forward to the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie. Gonna be directed by James Waan. I think that’s how you spell it. Director of Saw & shit like the conjuring. This movie should be dope with today’s special affects.
