We are excited to announce that the first ever LetsBeef Seasonal Rankings & Tournaments will start on October 1st 2019! This is the first major change to the way the rankings system works in over 10 years, it is designed to be more competitive and better represent your skills.

Starting October through December, you can participate in the Winter Seasonal Rankings to qualify for the Winter Tournaments which will be Grand Championships with major prizes! (to be announced soon)



More details on the major changes:

1) Seasonal Rankings - we're moving from Monthly & All Time to Seasonal Rankings, that last for 3 month periods. The existing ranks are preserved and visible for historical purposes.

2) Seasonal Tournaments - there will be 4 sanctioned tournaments each year at the end of each season (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall). You must participate in at least 5 battles during the season and rank in the top 64 to qualify. The Winter Seasonal Tournaments are Grand Championships with major prizes (happens in Jan/Feb).

3) Points & Skill Ratings - each season, your first 3 battles are "placement" matches that determine your initial skill rating (hint: GO HARD! ). From your 4th battle onwards, an Elo-rating formula is used to determine your skill rating. Once you have 5 battles or more in a season, you will be ranked with a better representation of your skill.

4) Ranked and Unranked Arenas - the Basic & Exclusive Arenas will be merged and renamed the "Ranked Arena". The "Unranked Arena" will continue to exist for members who don't want to participate in rankings.

They are, you just don't get ranked until you have 5 battles close. Are your referring to something else?

i see folks who have won or lost less than 5 battles this month in the rrankings when i open the ranked text battles page which is what got me curious.

i see folks who have won or lost less than 5 battles this month in the rrankings when i open the ranked text battles page which is what got me curious.

There was a bug on the battle page ranks, it's fixed now. No one has 5 battles yet

There was a bug on the battle page ranks, it's fixed now. No one has 5 battles yet
