I think the most important place to direct people to is basic battling, not incentive battling.

EtH, I agree that maybe extra points don't need to be given to special events. But, with a broader view, I feel that perhaps more points should be given for longer battles? For example, an LBT title match is 32 lines, and under this system it would earn the same 1 point that you would get sniping a noob with 8 random lines. I don't know if you should go for a direct 4x points just because 32 is 4x 8 (as it's still only 1 battle), but maybe 3 points for any 32 line battle win? 16 can be kept at 1 or bumped to 2?

I feel like one issue here is then you could also start talking about quality. Tyger Woods could come back and drop 40 32 line battles a day but they'd all be done quicker than an 8 line battle by yourself.

How about we do 5 points for an LBT/LBA title win/defence?

Yeah. 5 for a title win or defence feels right. Rewards the winner for a 32 of generally good quality. The LBT title match happens once a month so there isn’t room for abuse, like what could happen with people dropping garbage 32s in basic opens.

As for the winter text and Audio Finals, id say count both.
