Apparently, now this is from an article so take it how you want, Earl was making this new project for his dad. Who had never really listened to his music & was trying to build a relationship with earl- but died midway during the production. Which is apparently why there's a distinct switch between hopeful, socially aware tracks and just dark fuck it moments like Peanut.

That's so crazy. I definitely want to look into this.

Btw, yeah Tyler actually does have a clothing brand. Like that goofy stuff he usually likes to wear is actually a part of his brand. I shit you not check this out: https://www.golfwang.com/
