The chat box takes away from the forums, ofc. People usually log in, look at the chatbox then log off.. Or something like that. Felon's on the right track. Activity was never this bad before we got the chatbox. It only decreased. People started posting in chat first before posting in forums. Most of the topics they talk about could be threads.
