you could also look at this on a conspiricist level, as a wag the dog event to try and take focus off of russia and trumps relationship.. heres the scenario, russia tells syria to play along, use a syrian airbase thats either obsolete or vacant, stage chem attack.. evacuate base, let trump know about plan, trump goes on record as to bomb base... result.. 1.trump shows the world, democrats especially that hes not friends with russia by attacking syria, 2.he now shows n.korea and iran that he will not hesitate to use unilateral force if needed, 3.takes heat off of the russia trump investigation.. . every one involved, russia, usa, and syria are in on the whole thing
