I've always loved the "life happens" excuse as to why battles don't happen. Surely some of them are legitimate, but I can't help but question if this isn't your way of trying to justify your inability to see something through.

Who can't script a quick 16? Especially on holidays, it's almost 24/7 free time unless you're in a unique working position. Also these wet wives, spoiled kids and raging parties conveniently began badgering you AFTER committing to something? They're impressively timely.
