I go with European vehicles without a doubt. I wouldn't trade my BMW away for anything. Hopefully, my next car will be an M5 or M6. You are absolutely right about the maintenance costs of a BMW if I didn't do everything myself on the car, I would be spending an arm and a leg.
Actually, maybe 2 or 3 months ago, I had to take my engine apart because of a valve gasket leak. I changed everything spark plugs, ignition coils, all the filters and seals. I called BMW to see how much they would have charged and it came out to about 4,000. I spent 300/350 tops on all the supplies and it only took me a day to do it all. On a side note to that, people would be surprised how easy it is to diagnose and fix your car yourself doing both body and mechanical work. The amount of money you save doing that comes out to be one hell of a pretty penny.

I fucked up the radiator on my bimmer in the snow...had to get an OEM one from BMW and the shit took ages to get. Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only bimmer fan in here....I love my F30
& it's funny you say that because I'm crazy about their M cars... that M6 is like my dream car. But I'll take an M3 or M5 any day lol
& have you seen the Alpina cars? they're made in Germany and they're basically modded BMW's with crazy ass interiors
that Alpina B7 is another one of my dream cars
