If PC gaming is so good, why does 99.9% of PC gamers focus on playing games with low graphics and clunky gameplay like DayZ? The PC might have the potential to have all of this amazing shit but the most polished games are on console. Right now if things like Eve and WOW could fit their games onto consoles while taking down their graphics and dumbing down their gameplay, they would in a second.

DayZ is popular because of it's game mechanics (Which would never work on console because the controls would be, fucking impossible.) tbh. It didn't start off as a game of it's own though. It was a mod for Arma II which is an old game. They've got it out as a standalone in beta now and I imagine there'll be plenty of focus on beefing up the graphics. RUST is coming along nicely with much nicer textures and graphics from it's old alpha/beta. Garry's Mod is, well, Garry's Mod. It's made from the CounterStrike: SOURCE engine and isn't even a game.

You could port PC Games to Console. It's been done plenty before (I'm looking at you everything that came on the Orange Box and both Left 4 Dead games.) The gameplay and the graphics both suffer. Not to mention that you end up paying for DLC that the PC players get for free because the PeasantBox and PeasantStation are greedy fucks and Lord Gaben only takes all your money by giving you MOAR GAEMS. Seriously. I've got 91 games just in STEAM and I'm willing to bet I spent less than it would for you to get 5 games on either console.

Rust has/had a shit ton of hackers, haven't played it in awhile. Yeah, they get vac banned eventually, but the ones that aren't public that people pay for, they can go on hacking for like a week until valve implements a patch and catches them. This is why there is always hackers, in that game atleast.

Lots of people got VACations recently. With RUST the best thing to do is play on servers that have active admins. I play on Vanilla Ice in Legacy and there's ALWAYS an admin on. They also have mods installed to stop hacking and sleeping bag raiders.

@Mr Mxyzptlk might give it a shot again then, and yea when I played i never did the offical servers or anything, there was always usually 1 server that everyone solid played on with active admins to ban hackers, and ppl would just keep switching servers if a new one opened up that just got wiped. do more people play legacy or the new thing?
