Incentives for dropping opens to boost activity - Lets Beef

Im not sure if this has been suggested before so if it has let me know... I think it would be a good idea to give an incentive of some kind for a rapper to drop an open; Whether it be a credit or even just another statistic. I think it would boost up the number of drops in the arenas. I mean, why drop an open with your chance of losing dramatically rise due to the other emcee being able to critique a flow before hand and snipe. There are so many rappers sitting back waiting for someone to drop. Just adding the statistic though: ratio/percentage of opens vs replies/snipes could help, but I feel earning a credit would be sufficient.

I like the idea of an incentive credits ain't gunna cut it I personally think opens should just be blind ... Everyone would then be a lot more curious and sniping would dissapered ....

Yeah that's a good idea too X... Or maybe it could be made to where you are obligated to accept the battle if you choose to listen to an open drop

yeh that could work also however i dont think the coding will get done for it as they are currently working on a new look for the site and then extras etc in terms of coding it will happen later i would imagine however i do like those ideas....

I think perhaps having the person who drops the open lose less credits than the person who responds might be the best way to go.
