Your stance on the decay of particles may be true, but, what you are failing to factor, is that in this instance, there is no regeneration of the particles which have decayed, without the principles of a cyclic stance on the universe. Not all particles necessarily decay. Electrons and neutrons, for instance, don't decay. Protons may or may not. What's to stop them from eventually rearranging into, say, a simulation that creates a perfect facade of you or any given reality? It's technically not "you," but from the inside it would seem like it was.
Admittedly, that's kind of dodging the original point, but for the sake of argument I believe it is still valid.
