Get rid of flames

I think flames serve a purpose in providing low- to mid-tier battlers an accomplishment they can actually get by their name. Sure its annoying for us to see snipers with them, but those people will always do their thing anyway. I remember when I was really new I got a single orange flame and I was so stoked with it, and I wanted to continue battling harder and harder opponents to move up the rankings on a win streak until eventually I lost it to Alzie. Fond memories haha

The part about battling harder and harder opponents is the piece that’s lost on the same few people who do the shit for the wrong reasons. The same types of folks that less accomplished members continue to complain about in forums for the past number of years. If it ain’t the flames, something gotta be done to not incentivize that bullshit any longer.
