One had some good linked punches and creative with the movie names. The other had a verse that flowed well enough.

this is a scheme battle tho. And one was overall better here.  Fairs in

Lock came with his usual hard shit. Not a bad showing from Sheema, it shows she has real potential.

I felt one was a bit more cleaner and consistent, the loser had some hard creative raps here n there but was a little inconsistant at times so i got my winner edging it for abitbetter structure, fun read and fair vote.

Tbh I was rooting for sheema till we got to the ending,  lock was consistent thru out the whole verse , mofaka didn't even care to breakdown my verse but anyway , let me toss the vote.

Both came nice!

LOCKHART had better wordplay. Both had great rhyme schemes, but SHEEMA had the multis.

Lockhart:

You look like every single highschool lunchlady - FAT CHICK,  <<Lmao

I'm the "sickest to ever get to the point" - MAGIC so I'm "not really the one you wanna play with" - LAST PICK  <<<Nice

No h8 stay up.

Lock is impressive as always... short and to the point setups with strong wordplay into a well directed punch. the suffix-type punchlines do get old after a while, but within the context of the tournament and the interest of the scheme... just a really really solid round one...

Sheema: I really just wasn't rocking with the angles that you took on this verse... too too many of your bars started with "Ya bitch" or in some way was just a general diss to opponents girl/SO, which really is hard to give credit towards in the tournament format when you have plenty of time to prep and craft more clever lines.  Had you taken some more clever angles, I think some of your setups and punches would have connected to the opponent more.

overall: i think this is a first round bodybag with all due respect to both opponents. Winner had a more clever, focused, battle-oriented approach that was clearly suited for the tournament format. The loser, this time, was too general and lacked the creative or unique angles to put up a debateable.

GB both!

Good battle. Lock was pretty much non stop here. Lots of good references / concepts. Especially liked the Brad Pitt one.. Snatch was a dope flick. It all played well. Sheema has good energy, even in silence /texts. And aggressive. Which can win over voters in tight battles here. Without a doubt that one was much cleaner with scheme and on point throughout with technical skills and creativity. Fairs in. Thanks for the battle

Lockhard came with some corny word play which text nerds may find impressive but any real MC would never say out loud in public..

Sheena went for the jugular with rapid fire shots and flipped the scheme in ill ways while staying on point the entire time

easy choice for me

cool showing from both. Sheema your flow was on point and you kept the scheme up very well. only prob is your opponent out punchlined/metaphor'd you. try to work on that aspect. dope bars tho, the baskey line was pretty great. keep doing shit like that. vote goes to lock for more clever bars.
