Both had some moments here. Jay you had some ideas that shined with the unique multi sets you chose. More of a personal verse. Odin, you had more generic bars but there were a few I really liked. The broken multi in the last bar kinda ruined your finisher for me though.

Overall, I feel one's verse just had more impact. Fair's in.

Jays flow/ multis have improved on previous verses I've read. Couple of Thor concepts, try not to repeat the same conceots, wasted bars. 

Odin, usual verse from you. Multis more on point here. Liked the breaking out in sweats line

I'll do a bar-by-bar breakdown, not because I think it's needed to determine the winner, but just because I think it would be indecent to not drop a detailed vote on a GC tournament.

I don't know what a Gwalla is and the punch was simple, but the rhyming flowed well so we're off to a decent start.

In this battle he couldn't 'See me' if he had a 'CAMERA TUCKED'.. You 'sonnin' rappers? but how could they fight for you if they got their 'HAMMER'S' UP!

These punches were so basic that they barely qualify as punches tbh. Rhyming was okay and it did connect to the previous line so at least there's that.

Go against my 'Judgement' that's a "VITAL PLEA YA SIGNIN'.. Ya your name is 'Odin' but 2NIGHT YA MEET THE 'TITANS', Ima 'BREAK YA BACK' like 'CRACKER-JACK' or SPINAL REALIGNMENT!

I don't know about Odin's back, but your internal multi (Break ya back/Cracker jack) is definitely broken. This might be the hardest punch of your verse but the impact was still lackluster.

Another punch connected to the same idea, which is nice, but more basic than something with a pH of 14. I would've connected the Flash and Bang concepts to something about flashbangs (stun grenades used by police SWAT teams).

Not much I can say here. It read okay but the punches are again as basic as it gets.

Yeah I don't get this one either but it looks pretty basic to me.

Summary: The verse was coherent and flowed well, and I liked how you had conceptual 'motifs' (Norse gods/Marvel superheroes), but the punches were too basic for anything to be impactful.

You probably could stop here and still win the battle lol. I wish I'd thought of that concept myself. My only complaint is that you might have been better of cutting some setup to make room for more punches, but I can't blame you for not doing so, especially when you're already so far ahead.

What's this referencing? Almond milk? If I get it, then it's an okay punch. Unic/Eunuch is a clever WP but also reachy in that nobody is gonna call him Unic lol. They might call him Jay or Cunic or JC but not Unic.

If your bars wherever “Connected to something sick” it was a TRASHY STRIPPER. These bars of mine “Make heads turn towards fire views” w/o the use of an AVY PICTURE!!

Clever concept but it wasn't really directed at your opponent. I guess it didn't need to be.

a broken multi ?? really?????? Anyway, it's not quite a punch in my opinion, and I needed the expo to understand it, but other than the broken multi it's not terrible.

Summary: Your opener was excellent and the bar after it (vegan dairy) was great too, but then you ran out of steam. However, even the worst bars in your verse were stronger than anything Jay had, so you won clearly here.

Fair's in.

J has a lot of connective pieces and a lot of potential with that but needs to structure his bars a bit better to land flush. Odin set up to punch style is classic. The unic shit was too much!

Jay. I think your wording could really use some work. Things like "I got gwallah scared dork" I read and I don't understand at all. What is gwallah? It throws me off cuz i don't even understand the intent. It seems like your trying to rhyme stuff but the clarity of your message gets lost if it's messy. 

I kinda like where you're going sometimes. The flash and bang/stormy weather is a decent double entendre but I assume that's a muzzle flash and a gun shot? That's cool but I'm not sure cuz your setup didn't indicate you planned to shoot him at all. Your the story teller. You gotta help me understand your thoughts more clearly.

Odin, I likes the escape prison/breaking out in sweats. Thought it was a little stupid and a little clever which is right in my wheelhouse. Not sure why he would be posting nuts on milk cartons, like I get it, but I don't. And I absolutely hate your multis in your last bar. CONCEITED THERES NO DOUBT/COMPETED HED GET RECOUNTS/DELETED YOUR ACCOUNT. the syllables are off and rhyming RECOUNT and ACCOUNT... your better than that.

That said, I have a winner.

I don't know what a gwalla is and at this point I'm afraid to ask. Other than that Jay, your verse was pretty good so far. I liked your name play stuff.

2FUEL with is normal 2FUEL stuff. WEAK AN WEARY doesn't rhyme with BEEFING FAIRY or VEGAN DAIRY unless you have a stupid accent but you do so I guess it's fine. Overall your verse was fine except for a few tiny things here and there (The final scheme wasn't matching perfectly there.) and was good enough, imo, to take the battle.

One started out on a roll.  Didn't finish too strong. The others exp and precision showed heavily in this one. Dope reads overall.

This was the best bar of the battle in my opinion. Unic sounds identical to Eunuch and the execution made the concept hit nicely. The “missing cojones” set up was tough lol

This is a good battle to start the tournament. I feel like one’s first few punches were good but lost steam during the second half of his verse. The winner was more consistent & complex. Concept wise, I also edge it to the winner. Fair’s in, NO H8.

thought one dwelled too much on one concept which brought em down. Rhyming was rather basic too. Thought one was better in this regard and hit harder too. 

I think one was on another level as far as punches go. The other had some highlights as well but just a little too much children's talk in his drop and some of the multis didnt match up. He does have strong delivery in some places despite the multis not matching up but i think his opponent was too much for him here. Respect the fair and props for showing yall

This was dope. The winner had the full display with mean punches and mulities. Loser was not far off from that though just needed more complexity but flows were down packed for both. 

Great Battle FVNH

- Not sure of that first bar. I assume the knocking odin' out of valhalla bar is played, but I actually liked it. It's the "wheres thor" part that didnt land for me. Camera tucked/hammer up also came out weak. The Meet the titans bar was short and smooth. Another thor reference. I like the stormy weather concept though.  You kind of tuckered out here for a couple bars to be honest. The final bar I like a bit, but it has a nice ring to it. You lost some of the steam in it by throwing/throwing and it lacked a hard hitting concept.

First bar is cool but for me its a bit stretched. The multis are on point, but the inner structure is what gets me in some of these. I quite like the lead in to this punch, but cant help but wonder if the final concept w/ milk cartons couldnt of been flipped a little different. Smooth reference for the avatar, and a second one about his avatar lol. No idea why but chewing gum in the womb made me laugh. Foam compresses is another one that just came off smooth. Not a lot of filler in it. Not a fan of the finishing bar, but that could just be me.

Overall - One person just got out done by maintaining their level throughout the entire verse, while the other just fell off after a few nice lines. 

I know this battle is two is two years old, but a lot of people don't seem to know so I'll mention it anyways:

Gwallah is a colloquial slang term USUALLY used to boast about a "mass amount of wealth". 

However, I too am confused as to what he was actually trying to to pull off with referencing it as it didn't seem to boast of financial stability. Unless it was a subtle jab at Odin's potentially 'less than stable financial situation' in which case he could've meant "I got GWALLAH" and then proceeded to call his opponent a "SCARED DORK" in which case he should've said "got GWALLAH, ya SCARED DORK"
