Expo ..

1. This is not a personal bar. Just a nameflip. Off The Glass is an idiom with two meanings. "Off The Glass", as in: street slang for quiting the drug methamphetamine. 2nd meaning= "Off the backboard/glass" in basketball.

2. He made his own crew, giving it the name Mass Multilators, MM for short. However, the crew MurdaMusik, here on LB, is also MM for short. Everybody knows that, except maybe a few newer members. Hence the expo. Most everybody also knows AfterThought and GRizzEAT are the leaders of said crew. "Grizzly situation", in a more in-depth metaphore, would be that it would be a scary situation if his crew had ANY legends at all. Also a play on GRizzEAT's username.

3. He is from Virginia. Virginia Slim's are a very long cigarette. Hence the idiom "SMOKED BY A LARGE MARGIN!!".

4. Wolverine, from X-Men, is what he uses for an avatar picture. Wolverine (for those who don't know) uses super long claws that extend out of his fists.

5. Could've ended stronger, but I like the scheme and structure of the punch, so I left it there.

Out the gate brick was sick wit it and that Manhattan performance was a very nice flip. Also liked his multiple angles of punches as opposed to rai setting him up. This battle is really close man. The chase young correlations were kinda obscure relating to mines and such but clever wordplay. Lots of good wording but actual punches I counted were a little low.

Rai that meth bar was fresh as fuck! Avy flip too was good. Real by the book here, want more fire, pizazz, anger... ya know? Closer shoulda been harder cuz your opponent ain't slouching.

funny I read the expos and Rai mentions the closer being... what it is. Thought that griz bar was kinda stretchy too. 

sorry for nitpicking but you guys are dope and i expect a lot outta ya.

maybe going with Prick Repper this time. And I do mean Prick. Good writer but not a cool dude on the site.

Rai you was only down a little in the grade work. Every line needs to be on point.

*This series seems a tab bit underdeveloped, although I do understand in entirety, your play on words and making comparisons...a bit reachy, fragmented and diluted. The combination of multis chosen were also poorly managed, as the first set hardly rolled of the tongue effortlessly...per your explanation, I just don't see the correlation, even as a personal jab, considering the angle you chose...still doesn't make it more impactful. As I purely believe, personals should tell a story...a nod just doesn't cut the mustard in a tournament battle.

*This particular series was one that shines...not the best developed, as I thought it would have been more damaging to 1. add more references 2. Strengthen your setup...a very creative idea none the lesser...bars like this, should be capitalized on...brilliant concept. "Its Time Square", was a nice touch. Good shit 

"Yet u chasin a INFAMOUS VET but the 'Men U' can't finish cookins the Best!..can't take the heat? see thats sumthin u PIN ON A CHEF, 'simmer down' cuz "this second round all I care about is the WIN"..not talkin bout no STIMULUS CHECK" 

*This was another awesome idea, but wasnt executed to its utmost...and had a lot more potential, possibly..."but the Men U/Menu can't finish cooking"...doesn't work both way, and should have been worded differently. Menu/Heat/Chef/simmer...to play off of "win/wind", only to end the bar with a "STIMULUS CHECK" punch? This should have been an omission, the bar should have ended with PIN ON A CHEF, considering your references. 

"You think u a threat? Nope! your NO ONE TO TRUST, abusin Mod powers LB ain't conDONIN THAT STUFF, N "if u was real on the inside" U wouldn't be actin PHONY WITH GUTS, plus "you ain't no Ricardo Brown" but you'll always be KNOWN AS CORRUPT!" 

*DOPE bars here, wording and multis could have been better...but the "if u was real on the inside, U wouldn't be actin PHONY WITH GUTS" sheesh! Awesome jab, with a lot of sting...very personal, something that we are all familiar with...again, my personal opinion...you should have ended the bar with that note...you somewhat dampened it with the CORRUPT bit. Overall, NOICE! 

"..Sup! better get IN WITH THE TIMES, I been 'Washing Tons' of talent, now I'll Hashtag n TREND YOUR DECLINE, my ink is violent, meaning: the way I PEN IS A CRIME, i'm deFENSIVE WITH MINES! think if you 'Chase Young' Talent you'll be in a better position?..naw!..its the END OF THE LINE!!" 

*Okay, okay...I've read and reread, and read for a third to...we back into the battle for an expo, WASHINGTON/Washing Tons/Chase Young/Defensive End/End of the line...got it! Nice touch here, very well thought out and executed...seemingly, the best in your verse. Dope bars, the double meaning flowed well and multis matched up...a little slanted, but very creative here indeed. 

RAI: 

"His amphetamine abuse? Let's me know the KID'S NOT ON TRACK, n much like what a GYM OFFERS SHAQ? Ain't seen 'em "Put Meth Down Long Enough: to say that BRICK'S OFF THE GLASS!"/" 

*Now, this was slick...made for a proper opener, well developed and very creative...amphetamine/meth/BRICK (name play)/GLASS pipe...basketball correlation and setup. Dope build...strong ending. Although, your end-rhyme in one of your schemes was a bit off, but stretching the punch hid it well...which is why its important to not stack combinations if you know that you are closing a punch on a slant.

"You chose Mass Mutilators as a crew name. That's SHITTY INFORMATION I know "It Was A Complete AfterThought" on that NIFTY LITTLE SAYING, but to see "MM Full Of Legends?..." would be a "GRizzLLY SITUATION!!" 

*Im familiar with the particulars here, regarding the name play and their association within concept...well executed, multis onpoint...made for a good buildup...as for effectiveness; this was more of a display of skillful wittiness, than an actual punch or jab...but it resonated well enough. 

"13-12 as a text record, If I were you? I wouldn't MAKE ANY OTHER DROPS "Bearly Making It Over Half" w/ a "GAME WINNING BUZZER SHOT!!" 

*Multis were a bit off with this series, but the percentage concept was a good touch "Bearly making it over half"/half court...BUZZER SHOT. Creative and original. 

"The place you're from won't help you here. Against one of the DOPEST OF BAR ARTIST "Anything Good Coming 'Outta Virginia's, Slim" if you're already getting "SMOKED BY A LARGE MARGIN!!" (Virginia Slim) 

*This was a very good series, my only critique would be dropping the 's' on Virginia, would have made for a more fluid read...considering, "slim" is a popular way to address someone in some cities/states...Smoke/Virginia Slims...got'it, real slick here. 

"You'll never be a champion. You're NOT AS GREAT AS YOU TALK Matter fact. "Looking at your avatar on battle screen's" the only way we'd see you "CLAW YOUR WAY TO THE TOP!!" 

*Okay...well worded, well arranged. I also feel as if this required a little more attention that what you gave it, another reference would have made it even more effective...but only limited space. I say this, be cause it was a little predictable...I finished the bar in my head, before completing the read. Nice jab still, just felt one more reference was warranted. 

"That first drop you did as an audio cypher? I could TELL YOUR SCHEMES WERE STRETCHED N PLAYED You'll "Try To Block That Out". So "I'll HELP COMPLETE THE LEGO CASE!" Excuse me. Had to "Put A Flip On That, Right Then" since you wouldn't "drop an L ON ME IN TETRIS GAMES" 

Got it...honestly, Im not the biggest Tetris bar fan...had to go listen to the Audio solo, for a better understanding..."first drop" is the first thing that initially stood out, dope that you incorporated that. Although, I didn't feel as if his schemes were stretched...pretty much the usual 1-2, 1-2, but that's subjective...but played, yes. Block reference was sharp, Lego correlation was good...FLIP to the RIGHT, and then the Tetris punch...I thought that it ended well, but from your previous material, Im absolutely sure you could have came up with something else to say about that solo. 

In conclusion, this was a pretty dope match-up...both of you had some hiccups, and moments whereas the creativity and ingenuity really shined...but, I decided to go with the winner...because of the polished structure, smoother read, more complete setups and stronger, more consistent punching. 

Fairs in, good luck to you both...this a tournament, so my rating has to be stronger...these verses would have been a point higher in the arena.

both emcees brought some shit to the table. I felt one verse was a little cleaner and executed better overall slight edge. Close call, Fairs in.
