Out the gate- it was “already written”, think Nas album he get the “Message”, after the intro like the second track it gets classic, I learned “Life’s a bitch” when I had to put my son On a cover like Illmatic!

90’s albums but I’ll mention 2001 they tried to “Forget about Dre” but the aftermath was yet to come! See that’s kinda how this is- oldschool got the best raps- “survival of the fittest” shook one’s should sit back!

Both had a nice flow, felt one had better mic presence & delivery.  Good job from u both.

First guy got it wit his delivery. He got it. Second guy had some stumbles.   Andi still think if you have to explain your references in the comments you failed on the track and explaining in the comments is another form of vote swaying. Is it really a reference  if you have to explain it..and half the time the explanation is more confusing then the bar itself.  Hand it off or pass it. We will figure it out or you will fumble.

The concept: 90's Rap Albums

Skitt was dope wid it, he came in more ways that said the rappers an songs i didnt notice letum with the concepts as much. but the vs was alight. I godda drop a fair skitt was the clear winner here imo, both did they thing and brang barz tho.

Got my winner from first listen..skit had the better flow and delivery and was fresher with the concept..letum..to me it sounded like you wrote that last minute..ya flow was off a bit and delivery was okay.. you sounded like you stumbled a bit but picked right back up..I believe skit was more stronger with the concept than you were..ya did ya thang though..hats off.to both ya

Yo dope battle! I felt Skit used the theme a lot more actually u managed to cram a lot of references in there..flow was on point ..dope Letum had a dope verse..u had a unique flow just felt u didn't have enough 90's bars to over shadow Skitts.. respect to both tho.

good shit skittz .. leatum my opinion he had the delivery and the more complex bars he was better than the skizz i beat tbh

My winner was cleaner with the agression and delivery but by a margin. Good battle on both sides. FVNH

Alright so I gave both verses a single play-through, while reading the lyrics. I don't want to over-analyze the verses and pick at small things.

Out the gate, Skitt's energy was way more intriguing, had my attention, with basically no stutters, where as Letum fumbled quite a bit, which really hurts the verse. It's gotta flow seamlessly, from bar to bar, its an actual skill to aquire, and I think if Letum had that, he would of had me hyped, cause some of his bars were clean.

In terms of content, both were dropping album names that I vibed with, but Skitt was hitting all those classic albums by the greats of that era, big pun, jay z, 2pac, biggie, mobb deep, eminem, wu tang, etc, these to me, are the face of 90's rap, and I think picking those specifics artists/albums worked in Skitt's favour here.

I am going 8-7 Skitt for the reasons stated above.
