1.Amplify, center Wave
2. Amplyify, Dynamics Processing, very fast attack
3. Delay effects, reverb, enter in top to bottom 250ms, 10ms, 1812ms, 20, 100%,35%
4.FFT Filters, Mastering Gentle And Wide
5.Filters, Graphic Equalizer, Spit Clear
6.Parametric Equalizer, Loudness
7.Filters, Quick Filters, Flat
8. Hard Limiting,Top To bottom 6.5db, 1.8db,7ms, 100ms, make sure box on right is checked
9. Normalize 50%, then again 100%
10.Save Mixdown, opitons menu at bottom, choose 320 kbs

Now you've just made a hit!!!

You come up with these ya self or a turorial?. I got my own settings for CEP. I got adobe but I don't use it because for some reason the track will stop playing in it when I click my note pad. But I'm a give these settings a lil test run n let u know what I think.

Nevermind those settings are for Cool Edit not Adobe. those effect names dont show up in the newer version. I'll try them out In CEP n see whats up

These are the settings I have been using for my upcoming mixtape...

(none of the songs I already have up were mixed this way)

I can tell you, these settings make a HUGE difference with Cool Edit Pro/Adobe Audition 1.5

Also, if you're looking to make Studio Quality Tracks, you need to be in a vocal booth OR have a Reflection Filter and a Studio Quality Microphone, or these settings won't shine the way they really can with good microphones...
