Being that I been on this site for years, and that the Internet world is So ahead of the Outside world allmost nothing Impresses me Anymore. Its Damn near impossible for me to react to a punchline if it aint from Fab, Wayne, and a Couple of my Favorites. I done heard about every punchline in the Book. And whats a dope line in the streets, is played the fuck out to me. I get on tracks and try to say shit I never heard be4...Other niggaz get on tracks and say shit we was saying way back in 2006...and get a bigger reaction....Also no1 is hardly smart enough to catch punchlines nowadays...Its killing me having to water down my music to Appeal to the Masses...

IMO - hip hop is always changing/evolving so what might be hot now, will be different or fall off next year...the complexity aspect of this music is still relatively new - but surfacing through artists like Lupe who are starting to get mainstream spotlight...the reason someone like 50 fell off is because his persona and approach got old (thats why hes making club music)...how many different ways can you talk about coke, money, and girls before it starts to get repetitive

im kinda rambling but what i mean is - if youre thinking like everyone else, and only laying down material thats hot right now, youll eventually fade to the back...expectations of the listeners will start to grow and theyre gonna need something more than a played line...were conditioned to think ahead of curve because we experience the effect of "played lines" - its just a matter of time before everyone else does too
