To expo or not to expo????
So I got a question for ya'll...
Do you think expoing is needed or not???
furthermore, does anyone actually read them??
I, for one don't like to expo because I usually feel that it's insulting toward the readers, but at times I'm not sure if people have any clue what i'm talking about.
For example, from my last battle.... (which I'm only using for ref becasue I'm too lazy to go through my other ones...)
fuck deez nuts, I'll call you dee barnes, cuz "DEEZ BARS" GET SMASHED IN/ (oh lord) SPEAK HARSH?? IT HAPPENS when your multi-talented...soo... .so um..PLEASE, PARDON FAGGOT, but my "Multiple" skillz.... ensure that...THESE BARS IS "MADNESS!!" SV?? when things get rowdy??? WE SPARK AND BLAST IT, "roll up" on these fruits an' watch as my comPANY, "MARS" THIS FAGGOT!!/that's right...FUCK OFF YOU FAGGOT, cuz In da club SV got RETARDED FASHION/ "pick-up" broads just to get ah JUMP-SHOT-OF PASSION/ (jesus!!!) .meaning??? we PARK-AN-SMASH IT....you in the club looking for?? is like palins grandson..just a TEA PARTY, BASTARD!!/ (he's english)...
I'm not so sure how much of this people did or did not get.
Perhaps you guys did and I just underestimate the intelligence around here. Perhaps you didn't and expos are needed.

Well, in defence for people who read on, punchlines are partial, so if I read a punch that may be amazing, and there is an expo to a movie reference, and I aint seen the movie...it wont connect....
I like a little expo for the lines I could stuggle on. It doesent make someone a bad voter just because they dont get a line. Its a very common occurance actually, and people usually will MSN the battler or something to pick up the line.
I will read them if I see them and im stuck, but usually only for some wordplay I may be missing.

I agree with most of the statements here, if not all of them...
I dont see the harm in throwing an expo down...most of the people on here are aged 14-17, you need to remember that too...
