Canada is a primarily socialist country. Free movement of people is a huge fundamental concept of socialized politics. Why would Canada not support unionization?

Eh, world government is a bit of a stretch. I'm not a globalist. I don't think there should be one global government. But, I do believe in free movement of people, and free movement of internal exchange.

Besides, we've got a hard enough time running a nation of 330 million among 50 states and while the U.S. does exploit Central & South America, I don't think it should "officially" run those countries as well.

Well, the implication here is false. That the U.S. would "run" these countries. It wouldn't. Unionization is an agreed upon domain of politics, with contribution from multiple governmental bodies. Not a singular point of power.
