It takes place in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Early 1900's
They bootleg liquor...it's illegal since they passed prohibition. Therefore its hard to get your hands on it...
the main character Nucky Thompson is based on a real person named Enoch "Nucky" Johnson ...he's the treasurer of Atlantic City...& basically since he's a politician he has a lot of connects in politics so he's always getting away with shit, plus his brother is the sheriff of the police in that city.
But yeah...The show has everything. Every episode has a twist, people constantly getting murdered, naked bitches with titties, everything lol
If you watched the Sopranos and liked it, then you'll def like this.
