Summary:
A battle of Hall of Famers pits one of Lets Beef’s all time greatest track makers in Punk against Boro, the man with possibly the site’s longest run of top tier success in the audio arena. All-Boro would normally be considered the favorite in any audio battle but Punk asked specifically for this opponent so I’m suspecting he’ll be especially motivated for this highly anticipated battle.
Prediction: Coin Flip
Squammy vs Rieper
Summary:
Another highly anticipated battle on this card pits Rieper, winner of back to back Text Grand Championships and one of the most decorated members in site history, against a man on an absolute tear in Squammy. Rieper will be considered the favorite as he would be against anyone in the game right now, but Squammy is on a ridiculous 40 match winning streak with bars that prove he belongs in the upper echelon of active text battlers. Rieper is going to need to bring it to avoid being #41.
Prediction: Rieper 65-35
Padre vs Shodan
Summary:
One of the more interesting matches on the card pits Padre, an unknown, against one of the toughest opponents on the site in Shodan. There has been speculation regarding the identity of Padre and if the speculation is correct we should be seeing an extremely talented and polished battler. Padre is going to need every bit of that against the former LBT Champion Shodan, whose creativity and high risk, high reward style has made him one of the more fearsome battlers in this era.
Prediction: Shodan 55-45
Korvus vs Rain Matrix 2021
Summary:
Our next match pits a Tag Team Champion and one of the biggest personalities in the site’s history in Rain Matrix against one of the most polarizing members in recent memory in Korvus. Rain has been very active since returning and brings his signature swagger and clever, witty and concise style to the table against the unconventional yet highly creative bars of Korvus, who has shown he can hang with champions both past and present. This battle has a little extra spice to it after recent hate voting accusations and ensuing arguments. Let’s hope the beef gives an already intriguing matchup an even bigger boost.
Prediction: Rain Matrix 53-47
Occam vs The Ghost of Freak
Summary:
Our second audio battle on Quarantine pits a relative newcomer in Occam against a former LBA Champ in Freak. Despite coming off a loss to Good Grief in the concept tourney, Occam is being regarded by former Grand Champions as a promising rookie and he’s gonna be looking for a signature win here. Freak will surely bring the rapid fire delivery, humor and wit we’re used to from him as he attempts to score the victory.
Prediction: Freak 80-20
ChodderTFungus vs Dizzrespekt
Summary:
A matchup of two up and comers pits Dizzrespekt against ChodderTFungus, who is one of the hottest and most active members in the text arena over the past month. Chodder comes in on a 21 match winning streak, all in just a month’s time. Dizzrespekt brings an unorthodox but highly creative style to the table and should prove to be a tough opponent against Chodder in their first ever meeting.
Prediction: Chodder 60-40
Cosovic vs The Saaxxx Baba
Summary:
In another match of rising stars, we’ve got Cosovic going against Rookie of the Year Finalist, Saaxxx. Cosovic has been highly active, backing down from no one as he’s battled nearly 60 times in the past month including against vets like Rieper, Caked Out, Korvus and Mech. He’s going to need to draw from that experience against Saaxxx, who already holds a win over Cosovic. Will Cosovic pull out the upset here or will Saaxxx be shooting cum shots into the air in celebration yet again?
Prediction: The Saaxx Baba 70-30
