I think UA's right wherever he is in terms of how he's looked at from the Era he's from. He's won more titles than anyone (although Bleu is coming close) and he's got a clean style that a lot of people can read and automatically get, which is what everyone appreciates from him. Seems to have been one of the more versatile people on the site while winning text and audio titles (proving bars are slightly more important than delivery) and he's a figurehead in one of the most dominant crews in LB history. Sure he's dropped some bars that aren't exactly praiseworthy, but we all have.

My vote: Just right.

Dissizit is just right. His style fits him too much to say he gets too little/much credit for it. He has a hit or miss punch style, and he knows this, and he also knows what'll hit hard and what'll whiff.

So I feel Rai catches a lot of flak because of how he USED to write (which he'll admit isn't his best work), but not a lot of people seem to give him credit nowadays for the things he's writing now. I feel he's been getting a lot better in terms of making sure his concepts relate to his punches in the proper way they should (without having the multis he uses sound ridiculous), and he's been able to clean up his wording and he's not making the same mistakes he used to make, which is always a good sign of improvement. He's definitely got a lot of potential to win himself a title or two in the near future, and he's also very versatile.

My vote: Underrated.


Also, Mind Fuck is someone who's gotten rusty ever since the years have passed from when he was a staple on the site in terms of activity. I remember the last battle I had with him and he had a few concepts against me that I wasn't expecting, but a lot of concepts that were just ok at best. Wording and multis are where I feel most of his problems lie, since he's not been very consistent in his wording and you sometimes lose track in terms of where the bar is actually going, plus his multis can sometimes be broken or forced. He's got a fair amount of potential to be really good if he consistently worked at his craft, but I don't see that really happening.

My vote: As of now, overrated.

One last one, Subreal.

Sub's a guy who hasn't battled a whole lot lately (most of his battles he HAS done lately are troll battles revolving around The Bat God gimmick), but I think he could be a good challenge for a lot of current battlers if he actually tried for it. Would actually like to see him drop a few battles in the near future.

My vote: Until he battles seriously, he's just right where he is.

reEFer is a big name in the site's history, and his verses from years ago still hold up today. He's rightly considered one of the best. I do feel that he is and has been somewhat inconsistent and a user of forced concepts, though.

RULE's style was really punch heavy and from what I read he was one of the first who concentrated more on punches than weighing them evenly with multis and flow.I see a lotta folks have him top 5 and rightfully so because he won a lot. Of course some of the punches dont hold up today but his style still holds up a lot more than others from years back. RULE is just right...gets a lot of praise deservedly.

Rant is a pretty good texter but hes really feast or famine. He's had some really cool concepts and good execution in one battle and some weird references and weak punches in the next. He gets tossed around as a contender for the sites weakest GC. I think in terms of text battles Rant is overrated a little bit, partially because of how much he big ups himself. However I think where rant excels and us underrated is on tracks. He has some dope bars on the track side and his shit with babs is really dope. Catch me on the couch watching movies that I pirated B.
