Choppy flow is better than rhythmic flow. I personally dislike Biggie’s, Rakim’s, as well as basically all of modern raps flow. I prefer the Busta Rhymes, Tech N9ne, Twista, Yellawolf etc.
I know they’re mostly modern rap but I’m talking about that melodic bullshit.

i do resonate with what ur tryna say actly for me flow starts with eminem and tupac pretty much then diabolic and the sort the followed by the guys the guys u just mentioned over biggie etc. i dunno what the general consensus is but that just my taste.
