I think the time has kinda passed for something like this become insanely popular. There really isn't other communities like this one & they don't appear to be in demand. LB is probably doing pretty well all things considered.

Activity definitely comes and goes. It's been like that for as long as I can remember. For whatever reason, people tend to return to the site after a long hiatus, in groups.

Well said.. Im new hear but used to post on rapmusic dot com back in the day and it was the same way.. forums become activce when its members create and promote events. Replying to threads etc also helps keep members active. How old is this forum? I only just found it today..
