Overrated, Underrated, or just right?

Underrated. I think it's extremely hard to say that someone who has enough skill to defeat DaDDiO in a 32 liner is washed-up. Granted he's always had his problems with multi usage, his conceptual prowess is enough to give a lot of battlers some headaches nowadays.

Next one I'll choose is... @Shodan. I feel he is underrated.

Underrated. I think it's extremely hard to say that someone who has enough skill to defeat DaDDiO in a 32 liner is washed-up. Granted he's always had his problems with multi usage, his conceptual prowess is enough to give a lot of battlers some headaches nowadays.

Next one I'll choose is... @Shodan. I feel he is underrated.

I don't think Shodan is underrated, I think he is viewed accurately based on his skill level. He has odd concepts a lot of times and uses nerdy obscure references where no one knows what he is talking about. He isn't very consistent, sometimes he has decent verses, I think he's accurately viewed as a low-middle tier middleweight.

Next person, Jason.

I don't think Shodan is underrated, I think he is viewed accurately based on his skill level. Jason's a lotta folks GOAT...I wasn't here during his run but it seems like his style would translate to today if he put the work in. From what Ive read, I liked stuff from RULE, Daddio, Reefer, and others better but considering he did the bulk of his work 8-9 years ago, I can't say he's not in the same breath as those others. He beat who was in front of him...any old heads putting him top 5 for nostalgia reasons aint completely wrong.

next up, Celsius

Celsius is who I would consider to be right where he is now that he's had probably his best run on the site since he's been here. He's got what a lot of battlers seem to lack in their bars, which is swagger, and his concepts and how he can set them up the way he does is pretty good in and of itself. His run as LBT Champion highlighted that pretty well. I'm not saying he's overrated or underrated since a lot of people seem to hold him in high regard nowadays as one of the best active, and I think that's a pretty accurate statement from the masses.

Next - Real Talk.

Celsius is who I would consider to be right where he is now that he's had probably his best run on the site since he's been here. He's got what a lot of battlers seem to lack in their bars, which is swagger, and his concepts and how he can set them up the way he does is pretty good in and of itself. @Celsius is rated where he should be.... definitely making it to heavyweight status as he has scrapped with the best. He knows how to incorporate wordplay and throw a punch. Every once in a while his execution is off, but I think that execution of complex impactful bars is really the hardest aspect of a good verse in some ways. I do think he has received his fair share of criticism, some of which was undeserved.

Conclusion, Celsius is neither underrated or overrated.

Next: @YC , may be underrated as he is fairly new to the site and has mad potential to be a major threat in upcoming audio GCs... the guy is gonna get a title is all im saying. I think he could continue to put work in text to up his pen game even more... and I'm definitely not saying that in a patronizing way as he is better than me in most categories... especially in delivery.

@Real Talk is also a deservingly well respected vet, not underrated or overrated. Ive watched his live battles and listened to his LB stuff... the dudes got his own style and knows how to throw punches.

I think YC is one of the best audio cats around currently. His bars and his delivery NOW would have stood up to a lot of dudes back in the Golden Era of the site and he would be able to hold his own against a lot of the more recent heavyweights on the audio side if he elevated his bars just a bit more (Phil Banks, stricc, Bleu, M-Rock, etc.). With that being said, I think he's a bit underrated, in my opinion.

Next up - PaiNN

I think YC is one of the best audio cats around currently. Of coarse you would say that. I'm so "Trash" that I beat you. Deny it or not, it is the truth. In regards to your swagger jacking as you call it. Am I a swagger jacker for at one point using a similar style? No. Your a swagger jacker for using the same boring one two step EVERYBODY does.
At one point a textcee on this site will venture into different styles til he/she finds one he or she likes. This is what I did. Found the style to be very effective. Do I still use that style? No. I have my own style. Something you could never touch.
