Want more battles? More registered members?

So to @Pugz who I assume is the real guy who runs the show. This site has enormous potential but I feel as if the design of the website itself is not really helping it reach its potential.
I wont make this thread too long so as to keep your attention but....create a landing page.
First page that you see when you visiting letsbeef.com should be something around "Welcome to Letsbeef - Internets top online battling site"
Then introduce a step by step instructions for the new guys.
"So lets get started"
"First pick a name for your emcee"
Then enter some basic information.
"Lets battle!"
Click here to write your first verse (let the emcee drop their verse)
"Congratulations on your first battle "Name of emcee""
Redirect them to their battle page and let them know that they now have to wait for votes.
Last page should be "Check up on your battle to see if you've won, or read some tips and tricks here to maximize your punches" or something of the sort etc.

Otherwise people entering the site see way too information and it gets confusing
(Perhaps make an introduction on how to write a good verse, if the emcee is completely new)

Let me know your thoughts.

I been banging on about this for the new members since 07-08 these noobs get blown away by the complexity of the site .... All we so I send them an email welcoming them etc etc ....

I personally feel we don't do no where near as much as we could and should do for these new members .....

I personally feel certain parts of the site should be unlocked as suck after achieving certain things ....

I.e forum posts the more you post and get involved the more of the forums unlock and content
Voting the more you vote and the better you vote the better the battles you get to vote on
Battling the more battles you have and win the high caliber opponenanys you can challange


This is all scratching the surface type stuff

But we should be looking after new members staff should be doing more if not have a dedicated welcoming committee of sorts maybe two or three active old heads with good experience in all parts of the site ...

I could write for hours with ideas for this sort of stuff ....

I see what your saying but this site has some talented members because its a bit clique. Depends what Pugz wants really. More members brings more cash. I think the site could definately be marketed bettwr though.

Plenty of verses dropped, you customize your battles, theres a syllable counter (something I should use) and theres a beat you can rap to, whenever you select a word theres a definition and rhyme finder.
It has everything to get someone from 0 to at least 25% skill.

@Saxx not alot of people are able to tackle this site. Most of em leave, why should they leave? So that we can have tops 15 people just talking on the forums?
